Abstract

The technological civilizations, which introduce the contemporary scene, incorporating other relational paradigms and other categories, such as virtual reality, technology intelligence and cognitive ecologies, committed to the displacement of material dimensions to the dimensions that are symbolic in the territories redesign, with other temporalities. The configuration of the network of relationships and the agencies of social control and self, categories founding of the civilizing process, the vision of Norbert Elias, may impact differently in this environment and its subject, making emerging challenges as to its understanding.
