Abstract

Presents the tag clouds phenomenon, within the scope of the Web 2.0, discussing how it could help the organization classification and presentation of information in the web applications known as social software. Discusses also how these resources could be used in the library electronic catalogs, facilitating searches, helping the dissemination of information and the access to the documents. The tag clouds indicates its future usefulness helping the users interactions with electronic catalogs, helping optimize searches, disseminating information and helping the resources access. The results are intelligent usability aided by collaboration among users in information environments,
