THE COMIC DUALITY OF SAD FIGURE: A STUDY ABOUT BAROQUE CARNIVALIZATION OF DON QUIJOTE

The main objectives of this article are to analyze the first part of Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quijote de La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha, by Mikhail Bakhtin (1981, 2013) and present some reflections on the characteristics of the period in which it was written, the Baroque, with the support of López et al. (2004), Valentín (2010) and Villegas (2012). To this end, the main points about carnivalization and its origin in the Middle Ages and the issues of laughter and Middle Ages and the issues of laughter and duality of the world, in addition to the Baroque as an important period emerged from a Catholic reaction, which moved distinct instances, such as literary art. A methodology used characterizes the article as qualitative-descriptive and bibliographical. Through the analysis, dualities are shown, such as madness and reason, besides the fictional construction and the medieval inspiration.
