Abstract

Focusing on sexual and reproductive rights, the article analyzes, based on the experiences of boycets and from a transfeminist lens, the specificities that this issue acquires for boycets, trans men and non-binaries. Here, the main objective is to understand, through autoethnographic reports, what are the implications that transmasculine and non-binary bodies lead to debates on sexual and reproductive rights, considering that these issues are fundamentally thought for the bodies of women. cisgender women. In particular, it is intended to address some barriers to access to gynecological services and to information and methods to prevent STIs. It is concluded that there is, in general, a lag in the way in which these rights are promoted when the specific needs of transmasculine and non-binary people are observed, which is a product of the invisibility of these bodies in the same way that the health practices of modern western medicine are debated and elaborated. In this sense, it is extremely important that there is more research on the subject, especially from a transfeminist perspective, in order to ensure the promotion of sexual and reproductive health in its universality and comprehensiveness, as recommended by the guiding principles of the SUS.
