Processo de avaliação e fluxo editorial
By adopting the process of prior evaluation of articles, NAU Social aims to improve them through collaboration with the authors. NAU Social only accepts articles for review if they are unpublished and are not being submitted or reviewed in another journal.
The process of evaluating articles in the journal consists of three stages:
1 - Preliminary and similarity analysis, which checks that the work complies with the formatting standards required by the journal and the degree of similarity between the article submitted and works already published, the latter done with the licensed use of applications with internet access;
2 - Desk review, carried out by the editors-in-chief or associate editors, which examines the article's suitability for the journal's editorial line and its basic scientific quality according to the scope;
3 - A double blind review of the article by at least two referees so that, based on their opinions, the editor-in-chief or associate editors can reach a final decision on whether or not to accept it.
The author is informed of the progress of the editorial process via e-mail and through the journal's publishing system.
