LATINO-AMERICANISMO: ATRAVESSANDO GENEALOGIAS E CRUZANDO FRONTEIRAS

Résumé

Aborda-se o latino-americanismo a partir da elaboração de uma genealogia cujos marcos principais estariam relacionados com o surgimento dos Estudos Latino-Americanos no contexto da consolidação das Ciências Sociais históricas no auge da hegemonia norte-americana pós-Segunda Guerra e sua relação com os movimentos anti-sistêmicos do final dos anos 60 e início dos anos 70. Parte-se de uma perspectiva cujo principal argumento coloca os alicerces político-epistêmicos do latino-americanismo no cerne da construção dos discursos político, filosófico e cultural do colonialismo moderno.

LATIN-AMERICANISM – SURPASSING GENEALOGIES AND CROSSING BORDERS

Latin Americanism is approached from the perspective of the development of a genealogy whose landmarks would be related to the outcome of the Latin American Studies in the historic Social Sciences consolidation in the North American hegemony climax post World War II. It is also related to the anti-systemic movements in the late 60s and early 70s. Its starting point is a perspective that inserts the Latin Americanism political epistemic foundations in the core of the political, philosophical and cultural modern colonialism.
