QUANDO FALAMOS DE FAMÍLIA, DE QUE FAMÍLIA ESTAMOS FALANDO?

Resumo

Através da recuperação de literatura relativa à variedade de formas familiares de convivência e a multiplicidade de relações produzidas e reproduzidas neste espaço, o artigo indica uma ruptura com paradigmas que hegemonizam o âmbito restrito da ação familiar e produtiva do campesinato, incursionando em visões alternativas de caráter multifacetário, que privilegiam modalidades internas de interação numa perspectiva relacional (rede de parentesco entre gerações e pessoas de diferentes gêneros) remetendo estas redes à comunidade, vista como espaço analítico que integra o âmbito econômico e as dimensões sócio-culturais que afetam os modelos familiares e a emergência dos novos arranjos sociais.



By recovering the literature relating to the variety of forms of family life, and the multiplicity of relationship which are produced and reproduced there, the author points out to a rupture in the paradigms that hegemonize the limited domain of the familiar and productive action of peasantry. The article explores alternative views that privilege internal modalities of interaction within a relacional perspective (kindship network between generations and genders) and relates this network to the community - the analytical space that integrates the economic domain and the socio-cultural dimensions affecting patterns of family life and the development of new social arrangements.
