THE IMPORTANCE OF DIDACTIC INTERNSHIP IN THE FORMATION OF POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS IN APPLIED LINGUISTICS

Abstract

In this experience report, I talk about my experience in the Didactic Internship, of the doctoral course of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Applied Linguistics (PIPGLA), at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The teaching internship experience in Higher Education provided by the didactic internship discipline took place in the Spanish VI class, of the undergraduate course in Portuguese-Spanish Literature, at UFRJ, and took place in the second academic semester of 2023, between the months of August and December.. The report appears as a way of thinking about the importance of this discipline for the academic formation of PIPGLA postgraduate students. In it, I highlight some specific points of this experience, such as the syllabus and program, the relationship with undergraduate students, some obstacles during the process, caused by factors external to the university, and I report my experience as a class leader, activity evaluator and class observer.

Mestrando no Programa Interdisciplinar de Pós-Graduação em Linguística Aplicada (PIPGLA), na Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), pós-graduando no Liceu Literário Português (especialização) e licenciado em Letras: Português - Espanhol também pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Integrante do grupo de pesquisa intitulado Interações em Contextos Institucionais (ICI-CNPq), no qual estuda fenômenos interacionais que ocorrem no ambiente da mediação familiar judicial, além de ser membro associado à Rede de Estudos Empíricos em Direito (REED). Tem experiência no ensino de Espanhol como Língua Estrangeira em cursos livres e também na prática de traduções e versões voltadas a dublagens.
