Abstract

From the belief that the culture of the media, in their most diverse products, helps in identifying the "brazilians" as members of the national family, this article proposes reflections from the following question: how the “brazilian people” is built in Jornal Nacional (JN) discourses? Based on a theoretical study interdisciplinary and directed our gaze by the Critical Analysis of Speech (ACD), we understand newscast discourses within a dialogic relationship between text and context, analyzing the the editions of JN displayed in the period from one week.
