Abstract

This essay aims to reflect on the conceptualization of “molecular homosexuality” originated by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari in Anti-Oedipus: capitalism and schizophrenia and forwarded by Guy Hocquenghem and René Schérer in their works, seeking to establish dialogues in which the functioning of the homosexual relationship is presented in the production of pleasures and differences that challenge normativity, as well as any capture operation of these relations. For this, we continue to talk about molecular homosexuality in Deleuze-Guattarian work, pointing out the modes of operation of oedipal relationships and the criticisms made to psychoanalysis, so that we can look at homosexual relationships and how it is produced in terms of identity, but also how it works molecularly. Finally, in a dialogue with the film Tattoo, we present the affirmative powers of molecular homosexuality.
