Abstract

Echoing sound and image fragments from four musical documentaries – The last angel of history, 1996; Daquele instante em diante, 2011; Miles Davis, birth of the cool, 2019; ReMastered: devil at the crossroads, 2019) –, the Afrofuturist-inspired epistolary production reflects on the potential of rhythm, music, sound and noise for black
subjectivities and corporeality.
