Abstract

In this text, I narrate some of the moments that marked my experience in an intersex body. I reflect on my erotic, sexual, medical and activist autobiography to raise some questions about the representation of intersex bodies in aesthetic practices and the various ways to do activism in the intersex movement. Based on these questions, I ponder on the scarce representation that intersex people have in terms of objects and subjects of sexual and erotic desire and propose that the end of genital mutilation on intersex people should be pursued from different fronts, which should include a diverse imagination and representation of our bodies.
