Abstract

Thinking about an information system is required measures for beyond the management of human and material resources that compound it. Executing the planning and access to the information to be offered in the context of Information Systems raise a reflection about information input from the contextualization of their users. The present study is aimed to make a reflection of users in the context of Information Systems from the following inquiry proposed by Harari (2015) in his book “Homo Deus: a brief history of tomorrow”: Are the organisms just algorithms and life is only data processing? Methodologically, the research is typified as a descriptive one, according to the objectives. Considering the point of view of procedures, it is adopted the modality of theoretical revision starting from the literature of the area of Information Science. As results, they are pointed to two dialogic axes, that is, a physical bias where everything that compound the Universe is matter in constant transformation/renovation filled up chemical processes (organic and mathematic). A second perspective predicts to extrapolate concrete situations that generate experiences for beyond what can or cannot comprehend. This way, both approaches are concentrated in the field of processing (as a mechanism of stimulus and perception) of data, what is not simple or that can be synthesized in algorithms when it draws on a given psychosocial context, but it does not cease concrete whereas everything emerges or is supported in materiality. By end, it is concluded that the experience in the scenarios of Information Systems based on the generation, organization, dissemination and access to information in which the users, as a constituent part of this system, help the information processes, generating data of improvement through specialized algorithms. However, their experience as individuals is underperform of problematization to Information Science, based on its investigation object.
