Abstract

This research aims at the technological mapping of land planning tools, to validate and demonstrate the alignment of the system for mapping anthromes with such instruments. To this end, three keywords were defined to describe technological tools used in the mapping of land surfaces and that made use of geospatial data for cartographic production. In this perspective, 4 searches were carried out in four patent databases, using the three keywords separately and their combination. The results showed there is a history of international inventions in this area of knowledge. In addition, was evidenced the patents reported in the searches are in line with the mapping tools for land planning. On the other hand, was found that in Brazil there is no patent registration that meets the combination of the three search terms. In view of the observed, characteristics of the system were evidenced that demonstrate its alignment with the products of the same segment, allowing its validation.
