Abstract

The present study aims to identify mobile applications developed or used for the offer and/or negotiation of food products in community gardens, through scientific and technological prospecting and what are the possibilities of their use in urban agriculture. For that, searches were carried out in the INPI, Capes, Google Scholar, Google Search, Google Play Store, Questel/Orbit, EPO/Espacenet, USPTO and WIPO databases. The keywords used and combined were: “Application”, “App”, “Software”, “Garden” and “Urban agriculture”. The results demonstrate that there are few applications associated with the theme, most of which are intended for use in specific locations and few are available for extended use. In this way, it was observed that it is an area with space for the development of new technological tools that can contribute and bring the producer closer to the consumer, especially in moments of social isolation as was the case with COVID-19.
