In the world scenario, the intellectual property (IP) culture dissemination for children and teenagers is considered an important strategy for development. In this sense, this article aims to identify the academic production and didactic material of IP oriented to children and teenagers in Brazil and abroad. This research was carried out with a data survey of academic production and intellectual property didactic materials oriented to children and teenagers in two stages: the first in primary sources on the eduCAPES and on the Web of Science portals, referring to the period from 1996 to 2022. Eleven teaching materials were retrieved on the eduCAPES platform and 4 articles relating IP to the education of children and teenagers. In the second stage, using secondary sources (WIPO, USPTO and INPI), information on the production of IP didactic material oriented to children and teenagers was retrieved, confirming that information on the topic are still incipient.
