Abstract

The world is facing a pandemic caused by a new disease known as Covid-19. This disease is a variation of the coronavirus family that causes respiratory infections. Fiocruz will coordinate, in Brazil, the clinical trial Solidarity (Solidarity), of the World Health Organization (WHO), which aims to develop some medication for the new coronavirus. Considering the action of Fiocruz, the objective of this article is to map the drugs in phases of clinical tests that will be used in the actions of the project to combat Covid-19. Three article bases were chosen, Scielo, Pubmed and Capes, and three patent bases, which were INPI, USPTO and ESPACENET. The results obtained were analyzed quantitatively for where it concludes positive future perspectives on the technological development for the treatment of the new coronavirus, where of the 25,922 results found, 6,914 articles correspond to 27% and patents correspond to 73% of searches, which is equivalent to the 19,008 cases found.
