Technological Prospection: a mapping of intellectual property in the Amazon Federal Institute for Education, Science and Technology (2015-2019)

Abstract

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM), in compliance with Law n. 10,973/2004, Law of Innovation, created the Technological Innovation Nucleus (NIT), a body linked to the Dean of Research, Post- Graduation and Technological Innovation (PPGIT). The objective of this study was to analyze the role of IFAM in relation to the development of intellectual property in the period from 2015 to 2019. As for the methodology, it was carried out through a case study, and to achieve the research objectives, bibliographic and documentary searches. The results indicate that IFAM carried out in the period from 2015 to 2019, the amount of 25 registrations and / or deposits with the INPI, being 2 brands, 18 patents and 5 computer programs. This study identifies areas that need more attention and investment in innovative processes, through a mapping of IFAM's intellectual property from the creation of its NIT.

Graduated in Technology in Public Management from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina (2015). He has a Lato Sensu Specialization in Public Management and Urban Legislation from Universidade Cândido Mendes (2017). He has a Lato Sensu Specialization in Pedagogical Training for Teaching in Vocational and Technological Education by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas - CMDI (2018). Master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation with admission in 2019/1. He is currently TAE - Assistant in Administration at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, located at Campus Manaus East Zone.

Françoan Oliveira Dias, Federal University of Amazonas, Manaus, AM, Brazil

Master's student in National Network in Management and Regulation of Water Resources (ProfÁgua) at the State University of Amazonas (UEA) under the coordination of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP)/Ilha Solteira Campus and supervision by the National Water Agency (ANA). Master's student in National Network in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). He holds an MBA in Financial Management and Controllership from Universidade Estácio de Sá (UNESA). Specialist in City Management and Urban Planning from Universidade Cândido Mendes (UCAM). Specialization in Public Management by the Brazilian Institute of Training (IBF), in progress. Administrator from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Graduating in Accounting Sciences from Universidade Estácio de Sá (UNESA). Technician in Agribusiness by the National Rural Learning Service (SENAR). Technician in Agriculture by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas do Amazonas (IFAM). Scholarship from the Research Support Foundation of the State of Amazonas (FAPEAM). He is currently developing research related to the State Fund for Water Resources of the State of Amazonas (FERH-AM).

Layde Dayelle dos Santos Queiroz, Federal University of Amazonas, Manaus, AM, Brazil

Graduated in Librarianship from the Federal University of Amazonas (2015). Specialist in School Library Management by Unyleya (2017). Master's student in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation - ProfNIT, at the Federal University of Amazonas (in progress). He is a member of the Information and Knowledge Management Research Group in the Amazon (GICA). She is currently Librarian-Documentalist at the Information and Documentation Center/Library of the Federal Institute of Amazonas at Campus Manaus Centro, IFAM-CMC. She is Administrative Director of the 18th term of the Regional Council of Librarianship of the 11th region. He has experience in the area of ​​information science, management, user training in databases, institutional repositories and works mainly in the following areas: information architecture, scientific communication, digital repositories, open science, technological innovation.

Fabiana Lucena Oliveira, State University of Amazonas, Manaus, AM, Brazil

Associate Teacher at the State University of Amazonas (UEA), working at the Institution in 2008. Graduated in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Social Studies of the Federal University of Amazonas (1997), Specialization in Foreign Trade (UFAM, 1998), Master's in Production Engineering (UFAM, 2002) and PhD in Transport Engineering from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute. Graduate Program in Engineering (UFRJ, 2009). He has academic and executive experience in Supply Chains, Transport and Logistics, Strategy and Operations and the Manaus Free Trade Zone Model.
