Abstract

Artificial intelligence and robotics of industrial products and services has grown up exponentially which brings to society benefits related to the production of products, process management and fulfillment services. The goal of this research is a technological prospection related to robotic services. Key words robot* and elderly* and the B25J11/00 code were used to achieve the objectives. The results showed a large number of patents deposited in China and South Korea. The search of the documents was held in the database of the European Patent Office between 2010 and 2018 years. This prospective study demonstrated the current scenario of robotics services for the elderly people assistance and the investment that has been made in the segment, proving to be an area with significant business opportunities.
