Abstract

Innovation is crucial for economic development and increasing the competitiveness of nations. Innovating, however, presents risks. As in several countries that excel in innovation, Brazil offers varied benefits to support companies directly or indirectly, but do these instruments meet the demand of all levels of technological readiness? Therefore, the objective of this article is to classify the innovation support benefits of the federal government in the technological readiness level (TRL). To this end, the types and categories of existing innovation support benefits have been identified, as described in the technological readiness level. As a result, it was observed that among the innovation support tools chosen for classification, there is support at all nine levels of the technology readiness level.
