Abstract

This work has the accomplishment of a technological and scientific mapping on the Single Board Computers. The patents available on the international basis of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the scientific publications in the Scopus database, accessed through the CAPES News Portal were searched. It has been reported that the number of patent applications is less than the number of published works in the academy. China was the country that presented the largest number of patent deposits and the United States, which most published scientific articles. Brazil has appeared with 19 publications in the bases of academic works and does not appear in the international patent bases.
