PRÁXIS DE LEITURA FREIRIANA PARA A (RE)HUMANIZAÇÃO DE SUJEITOS
Abstract
This essay portrays conceptual premises in the development of critical and reflective reading practice as a political act to face social vulnerability with a view to (re)humanizing subjects.These concepts are supported in the Freirian conceptions of Social Pedagogy and in dealing with reading as a dialectical experience beyond the texts, aims to contribute to the practice of problematizing reading of the world and society. The text is subdivided from the themes on the social function of reading, social pedagogies in confronting social vulnerability and the reader’s training by Freirian praxis, in this case, with emphasis on the formation of the competent reader.The aim is to contribute to a better understanding of emancipatory educational practices, and thus to encourage critical reading training as an instrument to fight dehumanization of subjects.
