ELEMENTOS NÃO VERBAIS NO PROCESSO DE REFERENCIAÇÃO
Abstract
This project proposes to carry out a re-reading of textual linguistics: from the transphrastic phase to the sociocognitivist moment, aiming to highlight some of its shortcomings, especially related to the conception of text, its object of study that, despite its advances registered in its sociocognitivist moment, still focuses exclusively on verbal language, excluding, incisively, the non-verbal signs. To do so, it has Textual Linguistics (LT) as theoretical foundation, based mainly on the reflections of the Russian philosopher Bakhtin (2003), for whom "verbal communication is always accompanied by non-verbal social acts (work gestures, symbolic acts of a ritual, ceremonies, etc.) [...]. In this article, we intend to develop some considerations about the referencing, established in LT from the 90s of the twentieth century, which, although it has brought basic contributions to the science of text, its analyses still demonstrate an attachment to the verbal code; to minimize this gap, we suggest expanding it, calling it "Semiotized Referencing", in order to also consider the non-linguistic signs in the referencing process.
