This article presents the results obtained in the study of pronominal strategies to express the subject's indeterminacy in popular Bahian Portuguese, carried out by Jesus (2017) in his Master's dissertation. We comment here on the results obtained from the analysis of the strategy Ø + verb in the third person singular (Ø + V3PS), which arise from the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Variationist Sociolinguistics (LABOV, 1967) and the hypothesis of Linguistic Transmission Irregular (hereinafter TLI) (BAXTER, 1995; LUCCHESI & BAXTER, 2009). To carry out this analysis, some linguistic and extralinguistic variables were considered, and the variables considered as statistically relevant for the analysis of this indeterminate strategy were Location, Age, Reference to the speaker and State outside the community. The corpus of this analysis was extracted from interviews carried out in four neighborhoods in the city of Salvador: Cajazeiras, Liberdade, Itapuã and Subúrbio, and a city in the metropolitan region – Lauro de Freitas.
