Abstract

The Parque Estadual da Pedra da Boca (PEPB), located in Araruna city (PB), is rich in tourism attractions attention for exuberance and uniquenes of natural landscapes, which are directly related to the geological and geomorphological aspects. The aim of this research is to identify, to analyse and to map the geodiversity of PEPB, for subsiding reflections about is potential, use geotourism an, consequently, the establishment of de the strategies related to the geo-conservation of these sites. The methodology used was related to the pertinent bibliographic review, Field work, tabulation and data analysis. Given this approach it is concluded that the Park presents a rich geodiversity, however, it is necessary to make a planning with a view to use for tourism.
