Abstract

This paper aims at conducting a review of the concept of landscape in geography and will focus on the relationship that this concept has always maintained with the concept of culture. From a traditional timeline, the analysis is divided into three parts: first, we evaluate the interaction between landscape and culture in classical geography, in the second part, in modern geographies and, at last, in the postmodern geographies.
