Abstract

Marked by the emergence of new channels, new habits and new media, how the media consumption takes place has undergone some changes in recent years – especially among young people. When making a revisit to the concept of media consumption, this article discusses the renovation of this concept when the called new screens arrive, combining the concept to the preliminary results of the research "Youth and media consumption in a Convergence Time", discussing the details of the access and use of computer screens, smartphones and television by the young audience.
