Pretendemos apresentar uma discussão em torno dos processos de negociação cultural presentes nos melodramas cabareteros do cinema mexicano. Para isso, enfatizamos o papel que a canção popular mexicana desempenha nas narrativas, através de estratégias de adesão nacional e das dinâmicas de reconhecimento por um público massivo, dando destaque para o circuito cultural que se organizou na indústria cultural mexicana dos anos 1940.Downloads
