A modernização dos cartórios e a sua influência nos contratos

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the importance of improving technology in society, specifically in the services provided by notary offices and the evolution of contracts. The recent legislation on the subject is included, namely Law No. 14,382, of June 27, 2022, which deals directly with the new Brazilian electronic system of public records (SERP) and its practical consequences in the daily lives of the population that needs the services. From these innovations, it would be possible to predict the benefits that will be brought to society as a whole, especially in contractual relationships, with technology being an effective instrument for efficient allocation of resources, decision-making and interaction between agents.
