Author Biography

Dri Azevedo, UFRJ

Dri Azevedo was a substitute professor of literary theory at UFRJ and is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Literary Science at the same institution, as well as being part of the coordination team of the Laboratory of Feminist Theories and Practices at PACC-UFRJ. She was a FAPERJ Note 10 Postdoctoral Fellow from 2018 to 2021 in the Postgraduate Program in Literature, Culture and Contemporaneity, where she earned a PhD in the same program (2016). She did her sandwich doctorate at the Université de Lille 3, in France, under the supervision of Sam Bourcier (2013-2014). She is the author of the book Reconstructions queers: for a utopia of the home (2022). She produces texts on theory and cultural criticism focusing on contemporary feminism, queer theory and gender issues. She wrote the chapter "Corpo atritável - por uma nova epistemologia do sexo", in the anthology Pensamento Feminista - Sexualidades no Sul Global (ed. Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda) and the cover texts for Suplemento Pernambuco on Trans Literacy in Brazil and in homage to Glória Anzaldúa. She produces content on non-binarity, gender and culture on instagram @dri__azevedo
