Abstract

The article highlights the importance of intersectionalities and criticizes texts by Wilson Gomes and Richard Miskolci that attack activists and identity movements in Brazil who use intersectional perspectives in their struggles. The reflections of the first author, published on the Revista Cult website, and the book Batalhas morais, authored by the second, were analyzed. The text's conclusion shows that the authors blame social identity movements, mainly when they operate in intersectional perspectives, for problems in democracy and the rise of the extreme right in Brazil.
