Abstract

This article focuses on critical analyses of the perception of neo-Pentecostal black women of the social roles of
gender in their family relationships. The writing, based on bibliographical surveys, analyzes and then discusses the
implications arising from these perceptions on the proposed theme. It is worth mentioning that this study focused on the
indispensability of the intersectional view. Based on the ethical-political commitment of the proposal in general, it disposes
through the socio-cultural historical gaze, a critical and committed positioning with the social realities crossed by these
processes.
