Abstract

From research, events, and encounters with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual,
and other identity communities, this article seeks to systematize a vigilant life that has exemplified ways of living and surviving of these bodies in the face of different types of violence. The alternating performances of conformation and transformation in this vigilant life are important factors for understanding how it is possible to live in contexts of extermination
and isolation.
