Abstract

Neste artigo, exploro o que faz dos estudos queer parte do conjunto de saberes insurgentesque passaram a problematizar a produção científica disciplinar por meio das diferenças. Inicio comuma análise histórica da passagem das ciências às disciplinas até a insurgência dos saberes sujeitadosno final da década de 1960. Depois discuto a especificidade da Teoria Queer entre os saberes dasdiferenças. Por fim, analiso as condições em que criamos um saber queer no Brasil: externamente, sobuma economia-política do conhecimento que privilegia a produção do Norte e, internamente, sob apressão disciplinar e normalizadora de nosso contexto acadêmico.
