Temporary suspension of submissions to the Free Section

The editorial team of Revista Periódicus would like to inform you that, due to the large number of texts submitted to the Free Section, the difficulty in finding referees and the need to regularize pending evaluations, we have decided to temporarily suspend the submission of new texts to this section. This measure will be in force until June 2025, a period we consider necessary to guarantee the quality and academic rigor characteristic of Periódicus.

We would like to point out, however, that we are still receiving submissions for the open thematic dossier “Affections for a good life: subjectivities, art and theories of black sapatonas”, and that the publications of the other two dossiers currently in the editing process are confirmed:

“Challenging monogamy: biopolitics emerging from relational dissidence” (January 2025)
“Narratives of the self in spaces of (re)existence: arts, bodies, languages and sudakas dissident practices” (June 2025)

We reiterate our commitment to the academic community and thank everyone for their understanding. We will continue to work to improve our editorial processes and to ensure that each contribution is treated with the care it deserves.
