CHALLENGES OF TRAINING PUBLIC IN DANCE: DISCOURSES OF PUBLIC CULTURAL POLICIES OF BAHIA

The configuration of the new citizenship has sued the approach to the formation ofviewers for the arts by local governments to guarantee cultural rights. Bearing in mindthat is a topic of recent debate in the local area, as well as its relation to specific fieldssuch as dance, this article examines the dominant discourse in the official documents ofcultural policy for the promotion of dance public in the State of Bahia, Brazil. Thus, inseeking to understand the landscape of public relation of dance and public policies for artistic and cultural appropriation of this language, carried out a study of the discourse onthe public formation implicit in documents such as: XXI Agenda for Culture; Law LivingCulture and National Plan of Brazil Dance; and Organic Law of the Bahia Culture. As aresult of this analysis, we see the need to generate qualitative research on public behaviorthat allow understand their heterogeneity, but also the elements for building a culturalhabitus, within a political action that articulates art and education as strategy leading tothe audience formation.Downloads
