Resumo

Resumo: A obra da poeta alagoana Arriete Vilela é marcada por um exercício de escrita que reivindica a construção de um espaço em que o eu-lírico feminino se reconhece como herdeira de uma tradição de mulheres silenciadas. Questões relacionadas à memória e ao esquecimento dão a tônica do modo como a sua obra poética é construída e, por isso, aparecem como categorias norteadoras desta discussão, a partir da perespectiva de Paul Ricoeur, em A memória, a história e o esquecimento.

Abstract: The work of the Brazilian poet born in Alagoas Arriete Vilela is marked by an exercise in writing that calls for the construction of a space in which the female poetic persona recognizes itself as heir to a tradition of silenced women. Issues related to memory and oblivion emphasize the way her poetic work is constructed and, therefore, appear as guiding categories of this discussion, from the perspective of Paul Ricoeur, in “Memory, history, oblivion.”
