Objective: To characterize the individual and organizational strategies used to manage existing conflicts within the health team. Method: This is a scope review study. The search for evidence took place from February to May 2023 in databases: BDENF, CINAHL, LILACS, MEDLINE via PubMed and Scopus. Results: The final sample consisted of 28 articles, presented in two categories 1) Individual Strategies and 2) Organizational Strategies. The following stand out as individual strategies: development of communication skills, empathy, self-knowledge, emotional intelligence, respect; and organizational strategies, the need to implement preventive strategies and proactive conflict management, including training and capacity building. Conclusion: Conflicts are inevitable in complex environments such as healthcare, where different perspectives, interests and expectations meet. Therefore, it is essential to adopt proactive measures to identify, mitigate and resolve conflicts constructively in the field of health.
