Patent Production in the State of Ceará: a comparative study between the public institutions of higher education, scientific and technology

Abstract

The objective of this study was to produce researches in the pedagogical institutions of research, science and technology from 2009 to 2017. The following institutions were analyzed: State University of Ceará (UECE), Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Regional University (UCA) and the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of the State of Ceará (IFCE), the University of Cariri (URCA), the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA), the International Integration University of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB). This research was carried out through the research of bibliographic data and a pathological study, considering that the patents are important for the information on industrial development. The lags of the applications were checked, the number of patent applications filed, the series found revealed a large quantity, no period investigated. The year, the year has the development of the public activities have been an advance, in the issue of evolucion no aspect.

Geovane Gomes de Araujo, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, Fortaleza, CE, Brazil

Master's student in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer for Innovation at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará and graduating in Executive Secretariat at the Federal University of Ceará. Specialist in Language, Linguistics and Literature from Faculdade Vale do São Francisco and a degree in Letters - Portuguese-Literature from Universidade Estadual do Ceará. He is currently an administrative technician - Executive Secretary of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará and Assistant to the Dean of Research, Graduate Studies and Innovation - IFCE.

Etelvina Maria Marques Moreira, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, Fortaleza, CE, Brazil

Graduated in Letters - Portuguese Language from the Federal University of Ceará (1992), degree in Librarianship from the Federal University of Ceará (1980), specialization in Public and School Libraries Administration from the Federal University of Ceará (1988), specialization in Specialization in Technologies applied to Information Management by the Federal University of Ceará(2000), elementary-school-first-grade by Colégio Santa Maria Goretti(1972) and high-school-second-grade by Colégio Redemptorista(1975). He is currently Librarian / Documentalist at the INSTITUTO FEDERAL DO CEARÁ. He has experience in the area of ​​Information Science, with an emphasis on Librarianship.

Lidiane Oliveira Araujo, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, Fortaleza, CE, Brazil

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanimso, specialization in Business Law - Devry Brasil (2014) and Master's student in Intellectual Property and Technological Innovation. She is currently coordinator of the Technological Innovation Nucleus of the Federal Institute of Ceará - Rectory. He has experience in the area of ​​Public Administration, with emphasis on Innovation and Intellectual Property, working mainly in the Technological Innovation Center.

Joelia Marques de Carvalho, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, Fortaleza, CE, Brazil

Graduated in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (2003), Specialization in Professional and Technological Education (IFCE - 2017), Master's in Food Technology from the Federal University of Ceará (2005) and PhD in Food Science from the Federal University of Ceará. Ceará (2015). He has experience in the area of ​​Food Science and Technology, Agroindustrial Processes and Food Chemistry, exercising his teaching, research, innovation and extension activities at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (IFCE). He is currently a permanent professor at the Postgraduate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer - PROFNIT.
