Resumen

This paper explains the part of my Master thesis in which I am concerned with the discovery of perceptual characteristics of training under a Brazilian musical sieve socio-cultural unsystematic because the historical point of view. The need for this study is based on the assertion that it is important to know the stance on the subjective perception of music, culturally developed within social, to be able to evaluate new pedagogical possibilities of the development of musical perception in the classroom that are not disposed of formation of Brazilian culture and the impact of several settlements which were historically subjected. When considering also the problems of the border between the "popular" and "scholar", this study advances, especially toward the need for a further look at ethical and aesthetic value in relation to the Brazilian musical culture with a view to bringing the Brazilian's condition referential that his music may represent the discovery of other ethno-musical possibilities. A posture that would reverse the traditional Eurocentric reading of the history of Western music.
