200 (two-hundred) dry skulls were used, 100 (one-hundred) of them were male and 100 (one-hundred) female, medium areas of the face were quantitatively analysed, considering the following variables: the infraorbital interforamen distance, the infraorbital Prosthion interforamen distance, and the inferior facial triangle area. The obtained results permitted the determination of methodologies for sex identification through the average and the confidence interval (59%) and the Student´s t-test. It was concluded that the variable analysis, in study, showed sexual dysmorphism. The measurements corresponding to the male sex showed themselves, significantly, bigger than the female sex ones.Downloads
