The odontogenic cysts are quite common in daily clinic, and also a major cause of maxillofacial injuries in destruction of bone. Different cells and inflammatory mediators participate in the dental cyst growth. Among these influencers molecular you can cite some growth factors such as PDGF, TGF, VEGF and CTGF. This study briefly reports on inflammatory cytokines and their association with matrix metalloproteinases involving chronic periapical lesions.Downloads
