Ciclo de replicação e diagnóstico da infecção pelo SARS - CoV - 2
Keywords:
SARS-CoV-2, Replicação Viral, Coronavírus, Diagnóstico, Covid-19Abstract
The new Coronavirus, denominated SARS-CoV-2, causative agent of COVID-19, has a high infectious potential, and it has quickly spread around the world, infecting millions of people, causing a global economic impact. With the discovery of the structure and viral replicative cycle, it was possible to develop molecular and serological methods for theCOVID-19's diagnosis. The main article will discuss briefly about the Coronavirus history, the SARS-CoV-2 replication cycle, and its importance, as well as the methodologies, applications, and interpretations of the leading laboratory methods used for the infection’s diagnosis by SARS-CoV-2, utilized during the pandemic.
