Monica Mac-Allister de Aguiar da Silva has a degree in Architecture from the Federal University of Bahia (1988), Master of Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidade Federal da Bahia (1995) and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Universidade Federal da Bahia (2001). He is currently an adjunct professor with exclusive dedication of the Federal University of Bahia, UFBA, and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Organizações & Sociedade, O&S .Conducts research and has published in the areas of administration, architecture, urbanism and interdisciplinary, and is dedicated particularly to the field of organizational studies. Acts as technical and consultant also in these areas, highlighting the work of urban planning and management.
