AVALIAÇÃO ESTÉTICA ENTRE COROAS UNITÁRIAS DE DIFERENTES SISTEMAS RESTAURADORES, POSICIONADAS EM ZONA ESTÉTICA AESTHETIC EVALUATION BETWEEN UNIT CROWNS OF DIFFERENT RESTORATIVE SYSTEMS, POSITIONED IN AESTHETIC ZONE

Resumo

Objetivo: Este estudo verificou a influência de diferentes sistemas restauradores,
sobre o resultado estético de próteses instaladas em região anterior
de maxila. Materiais e método: Foi selecionado um paciente com
necessidade de coroa unitária na região de incisivo central superior e que
apresentava o seu homólogo hígido. Para o elemento dental preparado,
foram confeccionadas 6 coroas em diferentes sistemas (A- Metalocerâmico;
B- Empress Esthetic; C- Procera AllCeram;D- Sinfony; E- In-Ceram
Alumina e, F- Metalocerâmico com ombro cerâmico). Cada coroa foi posicionada
sobre o dente com o auxílio de uma pasta de prova translúcida
e submetida a uma avaliação cega, por 16 profissionais. Os avaliadores
atribuíram uma nota individual, em escala ordinal subjetiva de 1 a 5, para
os parâmetros cor, textura, translucidez e forma da coroa, finalizando com
uma nota global. Análises intergrupais foram conduzidas considerando
um nível de significância de 5%. Resultados: Conforme análise das notas
médias globais atribuídas aos grupos, houve semelhança entre os sistemas
A, B, C, E e F(p>0.05). Entretanto, o sistema D apresentou semelhança
apenas com o sistema F (p>0.05) e obteve notas significativamente menores
em relação aos demais sistemas (p<0.05). Entre as variáveis avaliadas, a
“forma” foi a única que apresentou notas significativamente diferentes na
entre os grupos (p <0,0001). Conclusão: Os sistemas restauradores para
coroas metalocerâmicas ou totalmente cerâmicas apresentam-se semelhantes;
sendo a forma, seguida da cor, as características que melhor definem
a qualidade estética dos sistemas avaliados.

Objective: This study evaluated the influence of different restorative systems,
on the aesthetic result of prostheses installed in the anterior region
of the maxilla. Methodology: A patient with a need for a single crown in
the region of the upper central incisor and who had a healthy counterpart
was selected. For the prepared dental element, 6 crowns were made
in different systems (A- Metaloceramic; B- Empress Esthetic; C- Procera
AllCeram; D- Sinfony; E- In-Ceram Alumina and, F- Metaloceramic with
ceramic shoulder). Each crown was positioned on the tooth with the aid
of a translucent test paste and subjected to a blind evaluation by 16 professionals.
The evaluators assigned an individual grade, on a subjective
ordinal scale from 1 to 5, for the parameters color, texture, translucency
and shape of the crown, ending with an overall grade. Intergroup analyzes
were conducted considering a significance level of 5%. Results: According
to the analysis of the global average scores attributed to the groups,
there was a similarity between systems A, B, C, E and F (p> 0.05). However,
system D was similar only to system F (p> 0.05) and obtained significantly
lower scores compared to the other systems (p <0.05). Among the
variables evaluated, the “form” was the only one that presented significantly
different scores in the groups (p <0.0001). Conclusion: Restorative
systems for metalloceramic or all-ceramic crowns are similar; being the
shape, followed by the color, the characteristics that best define the aesthetic
quality of the evaluated systems.
