Review of the book Políticas culturales y ciudadanía. Estrategias simbólicas para tomar las calles published in 2021 by the Peruvian researcher Víctor Vich. The work explores a series of artistic interventions in public spaces in Lima as eloquent examples of artistic activism in the country and the potential of cultural policies to intervene in social change and confront exclusionary and discriminatory cultural patterns.
