About the Journal
Created in 2023, Laje (ISSN: 2965-4904) is a publication of the research group ¡DALE! – Decolonizing Latin America and its Spaces, based at the Faculty of Architecture of the Federal University of Bahia (FAUFBA). Classified as B2 in Qualis Periódicos, it is dedicated to the Latin American decolonial turn, epistemologies of the South, and the decolonization of knowledge, prioritizing transdisciplinary production in intersection (in no way exclusively) with the field of architecture.
It prioritizes thematic dossiers, featuring texts in Portuguese and/or Spanish, related to the guidelines and activities of ¡DALE!, and organized by the group’s and/or the journal’s team(s), or by a specially appointed committee by invitation. Through specific, more occasional calls, it may receive submissions for double-blind peer review. The journal provides universal, free, unlimited, and immediate access to all of its publications and does not charge authors any kind of evaluation or submission fee. It also does not require a minimum academic degree for submitting contributions.
Exceptions to the above may be approved by Laje’s Editorial Committee.
