Abstract

The Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder characterized by the appearance of benign neoplasias that follow the passage of the involved nerve, cutaneous changes e, in some rarer cases, gastrointestinal injuries and changes in the Central Nervous System with consequent mental retardation. Cure for this disorder does not exist, but a great amount of alternative treatments does, as the surgical removal of neurofibromas or the removal of the coffee-with-milk spots with laser. The objective of this work is to make a literature revision and to present a case of Neurofibromatosis occurring in mother and daughter.
