Mapeamento Bibliométrico da Produção Científica sobre Entrincheiramento Gerencial

Este estudo teve como objetivo realizar um mapeamento bibliométrico da produção científica sobre entrincheiramento gerencial com base nas publicações indexadas na plataforma Scopus. Para isso, foram considerados os artigos de língua inglesa publicados em periódicos, compreendendo o período de 1980 a 2022, sendo o mapeamento bibliométrico realizado com o auxílio do software Biblioshiny do RStudio. A seleção dos estudos na base da Scopus foi realizada pela busca da palavra-chave “entrenchment” nos campos título, resumo e palavra-chave. Após o processo de filtragem, a amostra final compreendeu 755 artigos científicos sobre entrincheiramento gerencial. Os principais resultados indicam um crescimento representativo de publicações a partir da década de 2010, sendo a estrutura de propriedade um dos temas centrais a respeito da literatura sobre entrincheiramento gerencial. O autor com o maior número de publicações foi Salehi, já os autores mais citados foram Bebchuk e Lang. O periódico com mais publicações foi o Journal of Corporate Finance, enquanto o mais citado foi o The Journal of Finance. Como contribuição, este estudo oferece uma visão geral da produção científica sobre entrincheiramento gerencial, assim como sugestões de pesquisas futuras que podem ser exploradas. Desse modo, este estudo auxilia como um ponto de partida para acadêmicos e pesquisadores com interesse em se aprofundarem na literatura sobre entrincheiramento gerencial, assim, estimulando a produção de novos trabalhos sobre esse tema.
