Algumas considerações sobre o desenvolvimento de pesquisas no campo das políticas culturais

Resumo

O texto faz um apanhado de como se configura a área de pesquisas socioeconômicas e a constituição de bases estatísticas na área da cultura em alguns países e organizações internacionais. Levanta também os modelos adotados e aponta os benefícios ou problemas em cada um deles. Aponta as iniciativas brasileiras nesse campo, privilegiando o convênio do Ministério da Cultura com o Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística – IBGE – e do Centro de Estudos Multidisplinares em Cultura da Universidade Federal da Bahia. A few considerations about the research development in the field of cultural policies ABSTRACT: The text discusses the configuration of the area of social-economic researches and also of the statistic bases in the area of culture in some countries and international organizations. It also raises information of the models used and it points out the benefits or problems in each model. There is a report of the Brazilian initiatives is this area, privileging the contract of the Ministry of Culture with the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics – IBGE – and of the Center of Multidisciplinary Studies in Culture from the Federal University of Bahia.
